The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of palliative oncology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Clinical responsibilities may include skills with providing ambulatory palliative care consultation for cancer patients in close partnership with each patient's oncology team. The successful candidate will develop and pilot embedded palliative and supportive oncology clinics at the Abramson Cancer Center sites in the greater Philadelphia area. Selected candidates will have opportunities to partner with leadership in the Division of Hematology/Oncology and the Cancer Service Line to lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving end-of-life outcomes for cancer patients throughout Penn Medicine.
