Job Description

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To provide general secretarial and clerical support for assigned management staff. To perform the full range of duties as assigned including serving as unit secretary; providing information, assistance and strong interpersonal relationships to volunteers, interns, community agencies, and volunteer station sights, elected officials, students, staff, and the public. Fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit. This position receives general supervision from the Project Director of RSVP and exercises no supervision. Note:  This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
 

Preferred and Required Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:     High Shool Diploma or GED.
Experience:   Some work experience in a clerical environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activates. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting.  At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
