Job Description

 

The School of Business and Professional Studies at Central Penn College is seeking a learner-centered faculty at our Summerdale Campus.

The position teaches a variety of courses in the following areas:  accounting, entrepreneurship, management, human resources management, and economics.

Preference will be given to applicants with management experience as there is the potential for the position to assume a program director role. The College operates on four terms per year consisting of 11 weeks each. Day classes meet two days per week for two hours each day. Evening classes meet once a week. Online courses are conducted asynchronously.

 

 

Preferred and Required Qualifications

  •  Master's degree with higher education experience, terminal degree preferred.
  • Ability to develop and teach courses as part of a high-quality academic program that prepares students for professional success.
  • Demonstrated commitment to on-going professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of students from diverse educational backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to teach day and evening classes on-ground at the Summerdale campus, as well as online.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues.
