Job Description

  1. Supervise and direct operations of assigned College department or division.
  2. Direct the development and maintenance of all departmental records and reports.
  3. Develop and administer departmental policies and procedures.
  4. Train and evaluate assigned staff, as required.
  5. Develop budget projections for department or division, as required.
  6. Oversee, monitor and/or control appropriations and expenditures, as required.
  7. Supervise and direct operations of assigned College department or division.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of six (6) years of institutional or commercial custodian experience, with a minimum of four (4) of those years in a position of custodial supervisor.
  3. Flexibility and ability to change shift when requested.
  4. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record of less than five (5) points on driving record.
  5. Ability to participate in bloodborne pathogens training within six (6) months of employment.
  6. Hepatitis B vaccination or a signed waiver.


Background Check:

  • Candidates may be required to successfully pass a background investigation, to include driving, fingerprint and criminal history evaluation.
  • Candidates may be required to successfully complete a pre-hire, post-offer physical examination, including drug screening.


This is an Essential Position and the employee must be available for building emergencies, and to perform regular duties or other assigned duties at times when the campus is closed to students and non-essential staff.  Subject to 24-hour standby or call-in for building emergencies. May be required to work special hours as needed or required.
