The CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (CSPP) at Alliant International University offers APA-accredited doctoral programs (PsyD and PhD) in Clinical Psychology at five campuses in California, a Clinical Counseling master's program at two campuses in California, COAMFTE-accredited master's and doctoral programs in Marital and Family Therapy at four campuses in California, a national postdoctoral master's program in psychopharmacology, and international programs in Hong Kong, Japan and Mexico.

Job Description:
The PsyD Program in Sacramento, California invites applicants to join our APA-accredited program as a core faculty member. We will have two open rank positions: one full time (1.0 FTE) and one half time (.5 FTE). Our Psy.D. program offers excellent generalist training incorporating multiculturalism throughout the curriculum that was just reaccredited by APA Commission on Accreditation with the next site visit in 10 years. Although the specific area of clinical and/or research expertise is open, we are particularly interested in candidates for the full-time (1.0 FTE) position who have the knowledge and expertise to help build an emphasis area in Integrated Health Psychology for our program. Candidates for the half-time (.5 FTE) position will be expected to maintain and grow our current emphasis area in Correctional Psychology. Core faculty are expected to maintain a course load, chair dissertations, provide service to the university, and engage in scholarship relative to their FTE. Applicants for either position should be qualified to teach one or more of the following courses: Cognitive and Affective Bases of Behavior; Biological Bases of Behavior; Social bases of Behavior; Introduction to Psychotherapy; Psychopharmacology; and/or Intellectual Assessment. Stronger candidates will have a cross specialization with social justice and/or clinical or research activities working with particular cultural groups. The half time position can start as early as Spring 2021 while the full-time position will begin Fall Semester, 2021. Preferred and Required Qualifications

The positions require evidence of or promise of excellence in graduate level teaching, capability to supervise doctoral research, a record of scholarship, clinical expertise, and a commitment to multicultural training.

Candidates must hold a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program; California license or license eligibility as a psychologist in California is required by the time the position begins.
