Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills


GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To assist Coordinator of Community Health (HHS) with providing and maintaining community offered training and professional development.  Manage AHA CPR Training Center and Instructor alignment by remaining knowledgeable of regulations, communicating with CPR Instructors, and maintaining records. Complete general duties needed to assist with maintaining HHS and Professional Development/CE programs. This position receives general supervision from the Coordinator, Health & Human Services and exercises no supervision.
NOTE:  This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office setting.  At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.

 

Minimum qualifications & Requirements


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:    Degree/Certification in the healthcare field providing direct patient care. Nurse preferred but other disciplines considered with direct care experience/history.
Experience:  Minimum of 1-year experience providing direct patient care as licensed/certified healthcare provider. AHA CPR Instructor Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hiring.

Proper use of English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Skills in: 4. Providing direct patient for one year as a certified/licensed healthcare provider. Ability to: 5. Interpret and apply applicable federal, state, and local college laws regarding rules, regulations, and policies. 6. Perform and organize in order of priority a variety of duties under time constraints. 7. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 8. Learn and utilize inter-office programs and new ever-changing computer technologies. 9. Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship and environment. 10. Multitask efficiently. 11. Perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
