Employee Category: Exempt

Pay Range: Assistant Director: $62,691.20 annually or higher commensurate with experience. Admissions Counselor: $48,110.40 annually or higher commensurate with experience.

FTE: 1

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Position Summary:
Admissions Counselor
The Admissions Counselor will assist in the admissions process, arrange for visits and tours of the Moscow location, develop new recruiting initiatives, and advise prospective and current students. The Admissions Counselor will create programming, resources, and strategic initiatives to recruit underrepresented student populations. The Admissions Counselor will be assigned other projects by the Assistant Dean and will participate in the administrative and planning work of the College of Law Admissions Office.

Assistant Director of Admissions
The Assistant Director of Admissions will assist in the admissions process, arrange for visits and tours of the Moscow location, develop new recruiting initiatives, and advise prospective and current students. Minimum Qualifications:
Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director of Admissions:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Admissions Counselor

  • One year working in an administrative setting


Assistant Director of Admissions:

  • One year experience working in higher education; A Juris Doctor degree may substitute for this requirement





Preferred Qualifications:
Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director of Admissions:

  • Experience working with CRM tools
  • Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email software, and centralized computer information systems
  • Experience overseeing and maintaining a budget
  • Experience with marketing and social media communication
  • Effective verbal and written communication, public relations, and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and conduct strategic planning

  • Ability to lift, carry and/or otherwise move up to 40 lbs
