Major/Essential Functions

 

  • Ensure familiarity with the ABSN curriculum content to promote effective teaching/learning activities for key nursing concepts presented in tutoring sessions.
  • Promote a learning environment that is supportive of different student learning styles.
  • Plan activities (in person or via Zoom) to promote improved student performance in nursing courses, i.e. provide practice tests, identify topic areas of concern, develop individualized plans for course performance improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information.
  • Maintain course and exam integrity.
  • Various duties as assigned by program.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • BSN (Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree)
  • Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the State of Texas

 

Preferred Qualifications

Two year of experience as a registered nurse.

Pay Statement
