Job Description

 

Reporting directly to the Vice President/Chancellor (VP), the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs & Director of Learning Innovations (VC) will collaborate with the VP on strategic planning for Global Campus; the establishment of short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures and drives changes for improvement. The primary responsibility of the VC position is external facing. Additionally, the incumbent serves as the Director of Learning innovations, which provides strategic direction for faculty development related to technology mediated instruction, develops and implements work scope and related operational policies and procedures.

 

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Positions require a Master Degree in a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of related professional experience in a complex organization, with preference given to experience in a higher education setting.

Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Additional Requirements

-Demonstrated senior-level management experience in an institution of higher education, governmental organization or a comparable corporate environment.

Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

-Earned doctorate degree from an accredited institution.
-Experience working and collaborating with executive-level administrators at an institution of higher education.
-Experience with implementing academic technologies to facilitate learning and evidence of online teaching experience
-Experience implementing and managing instructional design principles in collaboration with faculty and academic leadership is preferred.
-Experience with adult and non-traditional students preferred.
