The School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, WA invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor beginning fall 2021 to direct the undergraduate Engineering Management Bachelor of Science program. The Engineering Management Program Director will be assigned to the department of their academic discipline (Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering).

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer, or Electrical Engineering;
documented evidence of teaching, research/scholarship, and service to be hired at the associate professor level;
demonstrated willingness to involve undergraduates in research;
at least 5 years of industrial experience, preferably in engineering design;
demonstrated leadership and management skills;
at least 8 years of teaching experience, which may include product/process design and development, quality control, project management, and manufacturing;
demonstrated knowledge about the ABET EAC accreditation process;
and a record of developing and working with engineering, business, industry, and related firms.
