Major/Essential Functions

• Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, patient care, research and service. 
• Teaching residents and medical students. 
• Giving lectures and teaching sessions to residents and medical students. 
• Medical practice in area of Internal Medicine. 
• Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.

Occasional Duties

• Maintain or develop an academic research program in the field of internal medicine. 
• May conduct inpatient internal medicine teaching rounds.

Required Qualifications

• M.D., D.O., or Foreign medical equivalent;
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency;
• Eligible to obtain a Texas State Medical License.
• Multiple openings.
