This position will be assisting senior lab members in support of academic research projects.
Initial work will be done off campus. This work will include processing of histological images and experimental videos, data analysis and assistance in the software development for a behavioral system used by the lab.
Once Salk enters Phase 2 of the reopening plan, the intern will be trained by a senior lab member to execute behavioral experiments. This will include daily handling of mice, setting up the behavioral rooms for specific experiments and then executing those experiments independently.
The term of this position is anticipated to be one year.
1) Lab Support (10%)
