Position, Department: Non-credit Trades Instructor, Continuing Education & Workforce Development

Type of Position: Non-Credit Instructor, Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: varies, hours per week

Pay Range: Determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: Workforce Development and Continuing Education offers open enrollment classes for students seeking to learn more about a specialized area, entering into the industry, and professional development and recertification courses for the industry. Qualified instructors are needed to develop and deliver various trades industry courses. Classes are conducted either in a continuing education classroom and lab environment or live online.

A variety of topics or areas will be offered such as Exam Prep, Training Topics, Continuing Education credits, Certification, and Re-Certification classes in all areas of trades including but not limited to Automotive, Construction, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Manufacturing and Machinery, Robotics, Welding and more.

Required Qualifications: Prior teaching experience
Subject matter expertise

Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching seminars and workshops to adults with various skill level
