The Vice President, Business Affairs is a 12-month executive position with an anticipated start date of November 2020. The Vice President will provide leadership and direct line supervision for district-wide personnel in the Business Affairs Division of the College (Business Affairs, Cashier’s Office, Comptroller’s Office, Legal Services, Payroll Services, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Purchasing and Auxiliary Services). The Vice President will ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the Business Affairs division and administer the budget, strategic plan, and institutional effectiveness processes for the Business Affairs Division. Serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the College and coordinates and administers all College financial activities and business services. This position reports to the College President.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with a master’s degree in business, management, administration or related field, and seven years of full-time progressively responsible administrative experience in finance, accounting, and budgeting. Two years of the experience must have been in a senior administrative capacity. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Preferred Qualifications: A doctorate degree and/or CPA.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $158,000.00
