Welcome to the website of the Department of Manufacturing Systems Engineering at California State University, Northridge. Our mission is to create, transfer, and preserve knowledge through dynamic teaching, and the effective training in our advanced laboratories for our future colleagues in engineering. We believe that learning, discovery, and innovation are fostered through the interaction of persons from a diverse background and are dedicated to creating an environment that welcomes and values all.
The department offers 6 programs: 2 undergraduate programs Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management, Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and 3 graduate programs: Master of Science degree in Engineering Management, Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and Master of Science degree in Materials Engineering, and 1 Certificate Program in Quality Management. MSEM Department also offers Minor in Engineering Management, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and Minor in Automation and CAD/CAM.
