The Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time, one-year, visiting position to begin July 1, 2021. We are seeking candidates with a strong teaching focus on the economics of Race and Inequality and are open to multiple fields of expertise. Candidates must have experience and evidence of teaching at least one independent class, evidence of research potential, and have completed all the requirements for a Ph.D. in economics by the start date. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment. The Economics Department is both dynamic and diverse, and among the largest departments at the College in terms of faculty size and number of majors. The Department maintains strong interdisciplinary relationships with a number of departments including Government and International Relations, Environmental Studies, Computer Science, and Mathematics and Statistics.
