We are ranked 8th (undergraduate) and 9th (graduate) among all civil & environmental engineering programs at public institutions. Our students are highly recruited and our graduates are widely regarded as among the most work-ready young engineers in the country. The department faculty are recognized for excellence in all aspects of scholarship: teaching, research, and professional service. With more than 74 faculty, 800 undergraduate students, and 438 graduate students, the department is the largest civil & environmental engineering program in the country.
