Princeton University, Electrical Engineering Department

Welcome to Princeton’s Department of Electrical Engineering. We are one of six departments within Princeton’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. The School is set within a major liberal arts university, which means that teaching and research go hand-in-hand. A low faculty-to-student ratio  provides students with focused attention and the opportunity to lead significant projects. The unparalleled resources of the broader University foster wide-ranging collaborations that broaden impact.

Our research is vast in scope, disruptive in nature, and comprehensive in its approach to problems.

Princeton faculty members are recognized as world leaders in their fields, equally dedicated to excellence in teaching and research. Several are members of national academies, and most are fellows of various professional societies. Many of our faculty have won both prestigious research awards and awards for their contributions to education.
