Faculty Position, Department Of Pharmacy Practice University at Buffalo Faculty Position, Department of Pharmacy Practice University at Buffalo The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UB SPPS) Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking a clinical-track (qualified rank) or tenure-track (unqualified rank) Full time faculty at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level with a focus in pharmaceutical health services and outcomes research, pharmacoinformatics, pharmacoeconomics and/or pharmacoepidemiology, who can grow the School's Center for Health Outcomes, Pharmacoinformatics, and Epidemiology (cHOPE) research program. The faculty member will advance the research/scholarly initiatives of cHOPE. He/she will be expected to develop and engage in independent and collaborative scholarly activities in his/her area of expertise. The successful candidate will develop an independent, funded research program. The ideal candidate will have research interests in the areas of pharmaceutical health services and outcomes research, pharmacoinformatics, pharmacoeconomics and/or pharmacoepidemiology. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with faculty across campus, including the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry and Public Health. The faculty member will provide didactic teaching in required and elective courses as agreed to with the Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice; coordinate courses in the PharmD Program; and, participate in curriculum planning and assessment. The faculty member will serve the Department, School, and University (e.g., through active participation on committees) as agreed to with the Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Active involvement in professional organizations is strongly encouraged. The UB SPPS is ranked among the top pharmacy schools in the United States.
