As a team member of VPUE, you have a unique opportunity to advance and support programs that touch and enhance the lives of every undergraduate student at Stanford. https://undergrad.stanford.edu/ VPUE is seeking an Associate Director of New Student Programs within the office of Undergraduate Advising and Research (UAR). The Associate Director has primary responsibility for project management of New Student Orientation (NSO), the university's program that welcomes and orients all new undergraduate students to Stanford, as well as other high-visibility, large-scale programs throughout the academic year. NSO is one of Stanford's Big 5 events, with a budget of over $1 million, and this position provides the logistical oversight of over 200 events and collaboration with campus partners as well as overall program assessment. Responsibilities include direct supervision of 6 student employees, as well as management of over 500 volunteers during the week of NSO. Reporting to the Associate Dean for New Student Programs, this position serves as a content expert in orientation, transition, and class-identity programming as well as a leader in developing community and a sense of belonging among new students.
