Position Summary To join a mature research lab at the Resuscitation Institute (Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, RFUMS) with a long history of productive basic and preclinical research on life-threatening events including cardiac arrest, hemorrhagic shock, and septic shock conducted in acute and survival swine models. The position requires assuming a supervisory "hands on" responsibility of experiments conducted in various animal models including rat and swine models with special initial focus on a newly developed swine model of septic shock and in a well-established swine model of cardiac arrest and resuscitation. The selected candidate is also expected to work on additional areas of research that may involve cell culture, molecular and analytical techniques, imaging, and blood analysis from the intact animal projects to name a few.
