Student Disability Services (SDS) at the University of Iowa is seeking a compassionate and analytical professional to provide one-on-one developmental assistance to college students by facilitating academic accommodations for UI students with a range of disabilities. This position will participate in various university committees and represent Student Disability Services as needed at both on-campus and off-campus events, including recruitment at college fairs. Specific duties to include: Facilitating solutions around accommodation-related problems and the implementation of academic accommodations. Orienting students to the academic accommodation process. Providing outreach regarding a variety of disability related topics on campus and in the community. Communicating with faculty, administrators, and university staff about eligibility for services and reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities.
