The College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Studio Art in Sculpture. The successful candidate will assist in leading the Sculpture area, teach at all levels in the undergraduate and graduate sculpture curriculum, and contribute to the strength and energy of the Studio Art department. Candidates must be able to integrate theories, concepts, and techniques from a broad range of historical and contemporary sculpture practices. Studio Art faculty receive support for their research, professional practice and scholarship through a variety of institutional research grants and travel funding. The standard annual teaching load is 2/2 in the rank of assistant professor. Additional service responsibilities as needed by the program, the department, and CVAD are required.
