Part time, 20 hours/week; 9 month

Clark University’s Center for Counseling & Personal Growth seeks to fill two positions of Part-Time Counselor. The Part-Time Counselor position at the Clark University Center for Counseling and Personal Growth (CPG) consists of 20 hours per week to provide individual and group counseling and crisis intervention to the student community.
These positions report to the Director of Counseling.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide short-term individual therapy, including triage and intake assessments
  • Provide group therapy sessions
  • Crisis intervention
  • Case management
  • Documentation of appointments with student clientele in electronic health record software
    Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a master’s or doctoral degree in psychology or social work, preferably with past training experience at a college counseling center.
  • Must have independent licensure (LICSW, PsyD/PhD) within the state of Massachusetts (or is license eligible).
