The University of St. Gallen is undertaking a major initiative to mainstream digital sciences across its core disciplines of management, economics, law, and international affairs. In pursuit of this goal, the university has established a new Department of Computer Science within the School of Management and seeks applicants for each of three six-year Assistant Professor positions in Software Engineering and Management, Distributed Systems and Management, and Artificial Intelligence and Management.
We seek individuals with a promising research profile in any of the following fields adapted to investigate information technology from a management perspective: Algorithm design, programming and software development (Software Engineering and Management); questions related to interconnected, distributed, and interactive software structures, including the internet, the World Wide Web, and the Internet of Things (Distributed Systems and Management); and learning systems, statistical modeling, or real-time information handling tools (Artificial Intelligence and Management).
