Lane Community College is seekingan innovative and participatory Associate Director to provide leadership in support of the Facilities Management and Planning Division. The selected candidate will fulfill the functions of leadership and administration in a manner that promotes fiscal sustainability. The selected candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities and project management responsibilities. The selected candidate will be able to assist the department in active recruitment and retention of staff with a focus on minorities, females, veterans and those with disabilities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To primarily fulfill the functions of division leadership and administration in a manner that promotes quality learning, fiscal sustainability, and ensures alignment with the College's mission, vision, core values and strategic goals.

**To assist the Director in facilities management and planning for a 60 person department with 1.4 million square feet of building stock spread over a 400+ acre main campus plus six satellite campuses across Lane County. Facilities Management and Planning areas of responsibility include:

  1. facilities planning, renovations, and construction;
  2. space planning and programming;
  3. maintenance and repairs;
  4. grounds and landscaping;
  5. custodial services;
  6. utilities management;
  7. hazardous waste management and general waste management;
  8. moves and event set ups;
  9. transportation program, motor pool and vehicle scheduling; and
  10. department office support.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, architecture, or a related field and (5) five years' experience in facilities and/or construction including team leadership for at least two years.

OR

Nine years' experience in facilities and/or construction with at least two years of team leadership experience.

SALARY RANGE:

Range: $61,050.00 - $80,972, Salary commensurate with experience
