The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine Huntsville Regional Medical Campus (HRMC) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure earning, open rank position in the Department of Internal Medicine. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. You will join a teaching service with a broad spectrum of patients and illnesses. In addition to providing clinical training to medical students, you would also serve as faculty for an established 8-8-8 Internal Medicine Residency Program and support education for the 12-12-12 Family Medicine Residency, recently awarded Patient Centered Medical Home Level II Certification. Seeking physician with interest in both ambulatory clinic and hospital service responsibilities.
HRMC's primary teaching hospital is the Huntsville Hospital, a 941-bed community-based, not-for-profit institution and second largest hospital in Alabama. The hospital is a regional referral center for north Alabama and southern Tennessee. In recent years, the hospital expanded its services throughout the area with development of the Huntsville Hospital Health System, the fifth largest publicly owned hospital system in the nation with more than 1,800 beds and 12,000 employees.

Candidates must have MD/DO degree, strong recommendations, love for teaching, and demonstrated clinical expertise.
You must be board certified and qualify for licensure in Alabama, medical staff privileges at Huntsville Hospital, and credentialing as a physician provider.
