Assistant Professor, Mathematics and Statistics

Assistant Professor, tenure-track, appointment effective August 01, 2017.
Teach 12 hours each semester. Additional responsibilities include university service, academic advising of students, professional development, curriculum development, and maintaining a program of professional activity that includes research and publiction.
A Ph.D. in statistics or biostatistics completed by August 01, 2017 is required.
Evidence of successful teaching experience, the capability ot maintain a program of professional activity that includes research and publication, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse student body are required.
The ability to teach with graphing calculators and Minitab is expected.
The ability to program in R and SAS is preferred.
Awards for outstanding teaching are desired.
