Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

The Lansing School of Nursing and Health Sciences of Bellarmine University invites applications for a 12-month tenure track appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. The position is available for start as of June 1, 2017.
Responsibilities will primarily include graduate Nursing classroom and practica teaching with opportunities available for interdisciplinary graduate courses. Teaching responsibilities include nursing administration and leadership courses in the MSN Administration track and the DNP Leadership track. An active research/scholarship trajectory is expected. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The Lansing School of Nursing and Health Sciences offers the following undergraduate nursing programs: 4-year traditional, 1-year accelerated second degree and RN to BSN tracks. The graduate nursing programs include:MSN in nursing administration, nursing education and Family Nurse Practitioner tracks and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). Additionally, an interdisciplinary master's degree in Health Sciences is offered online.

The successful candidate will have:
- Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field
- License to practice nursing in Kentucky or be able to obtain such licensing if hired.
- Experience teaching in higher education, preferably at the graduate level.
