RESEARCH COORDINATOR AND DONOR DATABASE MANAGER - JOB #2609
The Research Coordinator and Donor Database Manager position is a full-time professional/managerial position. The successful candidate will serve as the database administrator or gift manager. The Coordinator proactively conducts research on foundations, corporations, and philanthropists to determine their capacity to support college priorities, accurately records transactions and communication with donors to track preferences in order to strengthen response and stewardship. The Coordinator identifies new funding opportunities, matches donor interest to need, and creates/pulls reports to accurately assess trends. Additionally, the Coordinator will ensure data health is maximized to best support the College. This position reports to the Director of Development and will develop proposals and reports to assist with cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities. PENDING BOARD APPROVAL.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree and two years related work experience required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, successful candidates must have a minimum of seven years of proven success in similar fund development role(s). Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer three to five years demonstrated success utilizing Blackbaud software while maintaining donor satisfaction and giving that exceeded $500,000 annually.
SALARY RANGE: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable. )
