199TBD Marketing Content Manager
Clark University’s Graduate School seeks to fill the position of Marketing Content Manager. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the successful candidate will develop engaging content depicting the breadth, depth, and uniqueness of Clark’s graduate programs and ensure that content on the university’s graduate website is timely, relevant, creative, and integrated with other marketing messaging and aligned with the institutional brand and messaging.
Duties and Responsibilities
Included in a range of responsibilities, the Marketing Content Manager will manage and create compelling content for the Graduate Admissions website and marketing collateral, social media channels, research and implement new trends within the changing digital landscape, develop and execute a social media strategy, and write and adapt stories and profiles based on the medium and target audience. The Marketing Content Manager will coordinate efforts with University Marketing and Communications, in particular with the content marketing staff as well as other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or related field. Master's degree preferred. Candidates should have three years of experience in content marketing, social media content development and platforms management, writing/blogging and editing, editorial planning, and metrics analysis and tracking in a marketing or communications function and experience with writing for SEO best practices, email marketing, and inbound marketing (Hubspot). A demonstrated writing portfolio is required.
Technical qualifications include knowledge in web publishing/CMS, Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to learn new software systems. In addition, experience in social networks including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn, and blogs and understanding of how to leverage multimedia, graphics, video, and photography for storytelling is essential.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, 12-month position with excellent benefits, which include employee and family tuition benefits, 4 weeks’ vacation, generous retirement plan, free use of campus fitness center and many more.
