Full Time Faculty Member - Assistant/Associate Professor
The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Campbell University is seeking a qualified individual for a position as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Clinical Research. The appointment will be for a 1-year term, renewable annually, and based at the University’s main campus in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Faculty responsibilities include teaching in the BS (seated) and MS (online) Clinical Research program, advising graduate student research projects, and serving on Department, College and University committee.
Lecturing in undergraduate courses spanning clinical research topics; Developing and teaching online graduate clinical research courses; Providing guidance and mentorship for MS student clinical research projects including protocol development and collaboration, organizing and tracking of multiple research project activities; Promoting and supporting presentations and publications of student projects; mentoring both undergraduate and graduate students; Serving on Department, College and University committees and other assignments.
The successful candidate should possess prior achievements in academia, teaching and service, or demonstrate adequate potential to be successful in these areas. The candidate must have health sciences and research knowledge as it relates to the design, monitoring, and analysis of clinical trials and/or observational studies, a basic understanding of statistics and data management relevant to clinical research, highly effective communication skills, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
