Responsible for coordinating and facilitating various grant projects. Responsible for the planning and implementing internal and district-wide procedures that meet the requirements of the grant.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrate the ability to utilize computer technology to access data, generate reports and effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders. Requirements will include demonstrated oral and written communication skills to interact with varying levels of DCCCD staff, faculty, students, the general public and individuals from diverse backgrounds. The ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong knowledge and experience in providing effective customer service.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, push, lift, reach, carry, grasp, squat or stoop, bend and twist the body while performing essential duties, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher and six years’ experience in coordinating grant programs, social services or student programs or Associates degree and eight years’ experience in coordinating grant programs, social services or student programs.
Postsecondary degree in a STEM related field. Master's or higher preferred. Three years of experience in program development and/or management, including supervision. At least two years of experience working in higher education.
