Education and Experience Guidelines:
To plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and manage Central Services functions, programs, services, operations and activities, including off campus purchasing, receiving, warehouse, stores, mailroom and courier operations; maintain customer service culture; supervise the warehouse facilities at both campuses in the District-wide receipt, distribution, delivery, storage, inventory and issuance of supplies, equipment, materials and miscellaneous items; ensure the timely and accurate inventory control of warehouse supplies and equipment assigned as fixed assets; and perform a variety of other technical tasks related to areas of assignment.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Equivalent to an associate of arts degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in purchasing, business or public administration or closely related field.
Five years of increasingly responsible experience in warehouse operations, storekeeping or a closely related field involving the selection, purchasing, storing and issuing of a variety of materials and supplies, including at least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
License or Certificate:
Valid California driverís license.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid forklift operatorís certificate.
