Assistant Professor of Psychology

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a full-time, tenure- track Assistant Professor of Psychology position for the Behavioral Sciences Department, beginning August 15, 2018. UC Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio offering primarily associate degrees, with an enrollment of approximately 5100 students. The teaching load for UC Blue Ash College faculty is four course sections per term semester. The areas of teaching for the respective position may include, but are not limited to, Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods and Statistics, and Personality. In addition, there are possibilities to teach electives such as Positive Psychology, Social Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Interpersonal Psychology. Other responsibilities include participation in professional development opportunities in the discipline of Psychology and governance and committee work of the Department, College, and University.
The Department seeks a PhD or ABD candidate in Psychology with the expectation of successful dissertation defense by date of hire. One year of full-time college-level teaching as the instructor-of-record prior to the effective date of appointment. In addition, we seek evidence of service contributions (at any level) and research either in psychology or in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
