Full Professor of Sociology

The University of St.Gallen and its School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) seek to appoint by February 1st 2019.
We seek outstanding academics who have demonstrated academic leadership in theories and methods of social science in both teaching and research. The successful candidate will have a track record of internationally recognized high-quality research and teaching experience. Expertise in empirical and qualitative social research in particular as well as research interests in cultural studies would be an asset as well. Special interests in the sociology of business and organisation, theories of social change and/or narratological research would be a decided advantage, as would connections with new theoretical approaches to action and behaviour.
