The IT Technician position provides the evening support for the Information Technology Services (ITS) department at the La Plata Campus. The selected candidate would assist the Helpdesk Manager and guide the student technicians providing end-user technical support for microcomputers, associated peripherals, network components and software (operating systems and applications). The position also provides Tier 1 & 2 Helpdesk support as well as classroom and special event support.
This position is 30 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 2:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Work schedule may vary and flexibility is required.

- At various times it may be required to adjust the work schedule to include hours that typically would be covered by person’s working the morning shift. Would you be available to do so?
- It is our anticipation that the position will transition to a 40 hour per week work schedule. Will you be able to cover the additional hours when that transition occurs?
