General Biology Instructor

The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications from academically qualified and professionally experienced individuals for a non-tenure track, 12-month position as General Biology Instructor. General Biology I and II are high enrollment courses taught every semester. Teaching in other undergraduate upper and lower division courses may also be expected, depending on specialization and departmental needs. The Biological Sciences Department has 5000+ undergraduate majors, ~120 graduate students, and 58 faculty members on two large campuses (http://www.fiu.edu/about-us/campuses/index.html), one in west Miami (MMC), and one in North Miami on Biscayne Bay (BBC). This position will be primarily located at the Biscayne Bay Campus.
