The Biomedical Informatics Department at Stony Brook University invites applications for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor rank, tenure-track faculty positions in:
- Clinical Informatics
- Translational Informatics
- Public Health Informatics
- Imaging Informatics
- Pathology Informatics
- Artificial Intelligence
- Computational Science
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Informatics; or an M.D. degree with a fellowship or Masters in Biomedical Informatics; or a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field with research experience in biomedical informatics. To be considered at the Associate Professor/Professor level, candidates should have active funded research programs in their area of expertise.
Preferred Qualifications: Research experience in clinical informatics and translational informatics targeted at cancer research; a strong record of interdisciplinary collaborative research; demonstrated ability to contribute to and lead team science efforts.
