Org. Behaviour and/or Human Resources Management - Tenure Track Position
The DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Organizational Behaviour and/or Human Resources Management, either at the Assistant or at the Associate level. The appointment will commence July 1, 2018, although an earlier appointment date is possible.
For hiring at the rank of Assistant Professor, we are seeking an individual with a PhD with concentrated studies in Human Resources Management or Organizational Behaviour, preferably with expertise or demonstrated research capability in data analytics and/or leadership. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to teaching and supervision in our PhD program and to teaching in our undergraduate, MBA, and executive development programs, including EMBA. Courses that the successful candidate will be expected to teach include a subset of the following: organizational behaviour, human resources management, management skills development, negotiation, leadership, HR analytics, and Strategic Human Resources Planning.
DeGroote operates at two campuses, the McMaster University main campus in Hamilton, Ontario and a new state-of-the-art facility in nearby Burlington, Ontario, housing the MBA and executive programs. The successful candidate is expected to be active at both locations.
