ADA Compliance and Leave Administration Manager
South Orange County Community College District

To plan, develop, implement and administer comprehensive ADA compliance and all leave of absence programs for the District, by developing and implementing policies and procedures involving disability and leave requirements and responsibilities, establishing and enforcing compliance standards, investigating requests and complaints, consulting with college administrators, staff, and business associates on compliance and leave issues and resolution, and in educating all constituencies on the rights of persons with disabilities and leave policies, availability and requirements.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Guidelines:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Education/Training:
Bachelorís degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources management, business or public administration or closely-related field, including or supplemented by courses or training related to assignment, such as disability studies, disability policy and services, human rights, disability law, and/or compliance.

Experience:
At least three years of increasingly responsible experience in assisting in the development and implementation of employer-based legal compliance and accommodation programs mandated by federal and State laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, including or supplemented by two years of full-time paid experience in managing such a program.

License or Certificate:
A valid Class "Cí California driverís license. Travel throughout the District may be required.
