The Assistant Professorís job duties of this position include: developing and sustaining an externally-funded research program leading to national and international recognition; teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and other research personnel in the area of biomedical engineering; performing service activities commensurate with the position; and interacting with other researchers across campus to establish an interdisciplinary research program.
Ph.D. in biomedical engineering or a related discipline at the time of the application that must be conferred by the start of employment.
Research expertise in one or more of the following areas: biomedical imaging, regenerative medicine, biomechanics, and biomaterials
Sustainable record of scholarly research as demonstrated by the ability to publish in established national and international peer-reviewed journals, as well as, teaching and mentoring expertise
