The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics within the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa proudly offers ASBMB-accredited and ACS-certified biochemistry degree programs.
Our department invites applications for a renewable term position in biochemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2018.
The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially-based private institution of 8,913 undergraduate and graduate students.

The primary responsibility of this position is teaching 27 contact hours per academic year in courses within our biochemistry curriculum and Chemistry for Health Care Professionals. Other courses may be assigned depending on departmental need. Service, but not scholarship, is also expected for this position.

Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related discipline is required (ABD candidates considered). Prior undergraduate biochemistry teaching experience is also highly desirable.
