$4,416.67 mo. - $5,079.17 mo. (dependent on experience and other considerations)
Under general supervision, responsible for complex writing and programming of assigned system module (Financial Aid, Accounts Receivables, Human Resources, etc.) and testing for all new and existing programs in Colleague system. Analyzes and designs departmental systems in compliance with the directly impacting regulatory agency(ies) and district guidelines. Reviews and interprets new rules and regulations and programs systems correctly.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to identify system requirements, analyze, and solve problems. Ability to coordinate, plan and schedule, test and implement programs. Ability to assess end-user needs and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and different work groups. Strong knowledge and experience providing effective customer service.
May be required to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher plus two years of experience directly related to conducting system analysis for the assigned module or Associate’s degree plus four years of experience directly related to conducting system analysis for the assigned module or graduation from high school or equivalent plus six years of experience directly related to conducting system analysis for the assigned module. Official transcripts will be required. ***Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check. ***
Preferred Skills / Experience
Higher education experience and Ellucian Colleague experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills, both writing and verbal
Critical thinking and problem solving skills are required
Ability to work with diverse populations and work teams
