DIRECTOR, STUDENT SERVICES, MILTON - JOB #2552
Pensacola State College

The Director, Student Services, Milton campus is a full-time 12-month administrative position. The successful candidate will coordinate the day-to-day functions of the Office of Student Services on the Milton Campus. These functions include admissions, testing, advising, and career planning, as well as responding to student needs in order to support retention and degree completion. The successful candidate will work closely with the Dean, Student Services and other staff to provide excellent student support services consistent with other College sites. This position reports to the Dean, Student Services.

 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited institution with a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, student personnel administration, or closely related field, and three years of appropriate professional experience related to the job tasks are required. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer supervisory experience in a post-secondary education setting; ability to utilize technology to support student services functions; and experience in implementing ongoing enrollment, retention, and completion strategies.

ANNUAL RANGE:

$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)
