Assistant Professor in Religion & Conflict

The Department of Religious Studies at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9-month, full-time, tenure-earning Assistant Professor position in Religion & Conflict.
Minimum qualifications are expertise in religion, conflict, and economic development in the Islamic world; Ph.D. in relevant field; evidence of successful teaching and administration in executive education contexts; and excellence or promise of excellence as a scholar and practitioner.
Preferred qualifications include expertise in Central Asia and experience working with international organizations.
Applicants will be required to teach executive education courses as well as undergraduate and graduate classes in Religious Studies, to engage in a full program of research and publication, and to perform university and department service.
Salary is negotiable.
