Salary Range (Full-Time)
$3,416.67 mo. - $3,929.17 mo. (dependent on experience and other considerations)
Serves as the specialist within the human resources department in one or more of the following areas: payroll, insurance benefits, employment process, employee orientations, and/or other related human resources functions. Researches problems and recommends solutions within approved policies and procedures. Prepare oral and written presentations regarding human resources functions. Utilize an in depth working knowledge of the department and the district’s policies and procedures and the utilization of considerable independent judgment and latitude for action.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate with others. Ability to interpret and apply administrative and department policies, regulations, and rules. Requires demonstrated oral and written communication skills to interface with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The ability to provide quality customer service.
Works with light, easy to handle materials requiring little physical effort.
Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher plus three years of experience in a human resources function or Associate’s degree plus five year of experience in a human resources function or graduation from high school or equivalent plus seven years of experience in human resources function. Official transcript will be required. ***Will be subject to a criminal background check and fingerprint check.***
