Tenure-track Associate Professor or Professor, Nursing Program
The Nursing Program at Mercy College is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-track Associate Professor or Professor to serve as the Associate Dean or Program Director. Applicants should have a PhD in Nursing or PhD in related field, EdD in Nursing or a related field or Doctorate in Nursing Science (DNSc).† The Nursing Program is seeking a candidate who is committed to diversity, innovation, scholarship, and academic excellence in faculty and students. The Associate Dean or Program Director should be able to articulate their vision of bringing the nursing program to the level of a School of Nursing at Mercy College.†Candidates should bring a strong record of teaching effectiveness, scholarly productivity and a commitment to service.
†Multiple Year Track Instructor or Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant Studies Program
The School of Health and Natural Sciences at Mercy College is seeking candidates for a full-time multiple year track instructor or assistant professor in the Physician Assistant Studies Program. Applicants should have a Masterís degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Masterís degree in Physician Assistant Studies in progress. A Masterís degree or PhD in a related field, or an MD will also be considered. Experience as a clinically practicing PA or physician required. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience preferred.†Candidates with teaching experience should be familiar with the innovative use of technology in the classroom.
Associate Professor, Physical Therapy Program
The Mercy College School of Health and Natural Sciences is seeking candidates for a full-time, 12 month visiting Associate Professor for our Physical Therapy Program. Applicants should have an advanced academic degree (PhD, EdD, or DSc), however candidates that have made substantial progress toward completion of an academic/research doctoral degree will be considered.† Priority will also be given to candidates who have expertise in musculoskeletal care, neurological care or experience in the acute care setting. The Mercy College School of Health and Natural Sciences is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor for our Occupational Therapy Program. Applicants should have an Academic Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, or DSc) completed or in process.† We are seeking a candidate with pediatric clinical and teaching experience who is committed to diversity, innovation, scholarship, and academic excellence in faculty and students. Candidates should bring a strong record of teaching effectiveness, scholarly productivity and a commitment to service.
