Vice President for Enrollment Management

Texas A&M University-Kingsville invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice
President for Enrollment Management (VPEM). Reporting to President Steven H. Tallant, the VPEM
has primary responsibility for the development and implementation of recruitment strategies,
including strategies for leveraging financial aid.
Texas A&M-Kingsville, a member of the Texas A&M University System, serves more than 9,000
students from 35 states and 43 countries. The University is designated as an Hispanic Serving
Institution with an undergraduate student body that is approximately 62% Hispanic. The University is
located in historic Kingsville adjacent to the legendary King Ranch. The City of Kingsville is home to
25,000 residents as well as the Naval Air Station Kingsville.
The University seeks a VPEM who is experienced in the development and implementation of a
comprehensive, integrated and aggressive strategic enrollment plan supported by assessment and
The VPEM will actively engage with the Office of Financial Aid to develop and implement award
policies and joint communication strategies to maximize enrollment. In addition, the VPEM will work
cooperatively with the President and Office of Marketing and Communications to develop effective
marketing plans to increase undergraduate enrollment. A masterís degree or equivalent combination
of education and experience is required.
Successful candidates for the position will have ten years of full-time leadership experience, including experience with enrollment modeling and statistics.
The VPEM will collect and analyze data to make data-driven decisions, assess recruitment and marketing efforts and adapt innovative enrollment strategies. The candidate should have experience in optimizing CRM technology to generate targeted, segmented communications across all facets of the undergraduate admission pipeline.
