Position Summary
Responsible for planning, directing and administering the college human resources functions. Acts as liaison with District human resources and payroll offices. Supervises location payroll functions and ensures accurate and timely processing. Researches problems and recommends solutions within approved policies and procedures utilizing independent judgment and discretion. Serves as Affirmative Action Officer for location.

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to develop and implement methods and procedures for improving and facilitating personnel processes as well as establish and maintain effective working relationships with the college community and general public. Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate with others. Requires demonstrated oral and written communication skills to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong knowledge and experience providing effective customer service. 

Physical Requirements
Normal physical job functions performed within a standard office environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with physical challenges to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Master's degree or higher plus two (2)years of experience in managing human resources functions, including supervision and payroll.  Official transcripts will be required. ***Will be subject to a criminal background check and fingerprint check.***
